Preclinical Department
The Preclinical Department at Pankajakasthuri plays a critical role in the early-stage evaluation of our herbal formulations and natural compounds. This department is responsible for the preclinical testing of new products, ensuring their safety, efficacy, and biological activity before they proceed to clinical trials.
Animal Facility
The facility is designed for small animal experimentation and includes dedicated quarantine, breeding, and experimental rooms for rodents and rabbits.
All animal experimentation is conducted under the oversight of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) and follows the guidelines set by the Government of India.
The facility is registered with the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA) under registration number 2093/PO/ReRcBi/S/20/CPCSEA, ensuring compliance with animal welfare regulations from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
This facility operates as a double-corridor system with controlled access and features an automatic double-door sterilization chamber to maintain stringent hygiene and biosecurity standards
